Sheldon Richardson and Muhammad Wilkerson consistently late for Jets' meetings
New York Jets defensive ends Sheldon Richardson and Muhammad Wilkerson "are regularly late or miss team meetings," NJ Advance Media's Connor Hughes reports.
The Jets did not confirm why Richardson and Wilkerson were benched for the first quarter of the Week 9 loss, but it is easy to guess the reason following this report. Wilkerson was benched for a quarter and fined last season for being late to a team meeting. New York is stuck with Wilkerson after giving him $86 million over the offseason, but Richardson was the subject of trade rumors before the deadline and likely will be again during the offseason.
The Jets' defense held the Miami Dolphins' offense to 2.11 Net Expected Points (NEP) on 28 passing attempts, and allowed 1.59 NEP on 24 rush attempts, per numberFire Live.
