Chiefs sign Bishop Sankey
The Kansas City Chiefs have signed running back Bishop Sankey off of the New England Patriots' practice squad.
With Jamaal Charles (knee) and Spencer Ware (concussion) banged up, Sankey adds some depth behind Charcandrick West in the Chiefs' backfield.
Sankey was reasonably efficient on 47 carries last season. His 0.01 Rushing Net Expected Points per carry ranked 24th among the 82 backs with at least 40 carries. It was also by far the best mark among Tennessee Titans' running backs in that group, with the other three all ranking at or below 69th.
