Steelers optimistic about Ben Roethlisberger's Week 9 availability
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is expected to play Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.
Adam Schefter reported on Sunday morning that Roethlisberger was "still a few weeks out," so there's still plenty of uncertainty regarding the quarterback's health. If he's able to practice early in the week, we expect Roethlisberger to play against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9.
Entering Week 8, Roethlisberger ranked seventh in Passing Net Expected Points per play among all quarterbacks with at least 100 dropbacks this season.
