Steelers' Antonio Brown has inefficient high-target day in Week 7
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown snagged 7 of his 11 targets for 106 yards, and rushed once for 13 yards Sunday.
Brown was the intended receiver on quarterback Landry Jones’ interception. There was nothing Brown could have done on the play as the ball was badly underthrown. Later, Brown dusted New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler for a 51-yard catch. It was Brown’s longest gain of the season. Brown’s day came to a screeching halt after he got kneed in the quad early in the second half. He only missed a handful of plays but was ineffective upon his return, securing just one of four second-half targets for 13 yards.
Brown earned 6.16 Net Expected Points on his 11 targets in Week 7, per numberFire Live.
