Bears 'eyeballing' Week 13 return for Kevin White (leg)

Chicago Bears wide receiver Kevin White (leg, injured reserve) could play Week 13, according to general manager Ryan Pace, who said he is "eyeballing" the December 4 matchup with the Chicago Bears as a potential return date.

What It Means:

White underwent surgery for a spiral fracture of his fibula that he suffered in Week 4, and Week 13 will be the first week he can return. It seems rather optimistic for someone with White's injury history, and either way, he's not worth the spot on your fantasy roster. With how well Cameron Meredith has been playing, it's fair to wonder how the Bears' totem pole of pass-catchers will shake out once White does return to the field.

Among the 54 NFL wide receivers with at least 35 targets this season, White ranks second-to-last with 0.29 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target on 36 looks. However, Meredith hasn't fared too much better, earning 0.34 Reception NEP per target on 35 targets of his own.
