Broncos' Trevor Siemian (shoulder) diagnosed with AC joint sprain
Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian has been diagnosed with a sprained AC joint in his left (non-throwing) shoulder, USA Today's Tom Pelissero reports.
It's a pain-management type of an injury, and one that can't be further damaged by playing with it. Siemian is day-to-day for the time being and 50-50 to start next week at home against the Atlanta Falcons. Pro Football Talk reports Trevor Siemian (shoulder) could miss "a game, maybe two." Rookie Paxton Lynch played well with Siemian sidelined. He would be an interesting streamer against the Falcons if he gets the start.
On his 24 passing attempts in Week 4, Lynch earned 8.21 Net Expected Points (NEP), per numberFire Live. Siemian had earned 1.76 NEP on his 7 attempts prior to exiting with the injury.
