Saints' Coby Fleener earning Drew Brees' trust
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees said that his confidence and trust in tight end Coby Fleener continues to increase.
Fleener had a really rough start to the season, with 3 receptions for 35 yards on 12 targets through his first 2 games. Things seemed to click in Week 3 though, and he caught 7-of-11 targets for 109 yards and 1 touchdown.
Fleener ranks 16th in Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target among the 30 tight ends to see 10-plus targets so far, and he finished second among tight ends in Reception NEP in Week 2.
