Thomas Rawls will likely be limited by Seahawks to start season
The Seattle Seahawks don't "want to rush" running back Thomas Rawls (ankle), head coach Pete Carroll said.
Carroll said Rawls should be ready to start "in the next couple weeks," but "it's still time to take care of him." The head coach added that the Seahawks would "love for him to carry the ball quite a bit" Week 1, but it sounds like Rawls is headed for a limited role. Rawls could be worth a look as a risk/reward RB3 while Christine Michael is flex-worthy.
Our models project Rawls to carry the rock 8 times for 40 yards and 0.37 touchdowns in Sunday's season opener against the Miami Dolphins.
