Jordan Cameron

Dolphins' Jordan Cameron's dreadful summer continues

Miami Dolphins tight end Jordan Cameron caught 1-of-4 targets for six yards in the Dolphins' third preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday.

What It Means:

Of those three missed targets, two were drops. Head coach Adam Gase even schemed a touchdown opportunity for Cameron from inside the five-yard line, but the pass from Ryan Tannehill wound up smacking the tight end in the face mask. Per Dolphins beat reporters, Cameron's offseason has been characterized by dropped passes and disappointment. Despite the $6 million they are paying Cameron this season, Miami may want to consider a larger role for Dion Sims.

Cameron currently projects as our 21st tight end entering the season with a season-long forecast of 49 catches, 540 yards and 3.50 touchdowns.
