Mike Gillislee (concussion) still Bills' second running back
Buffalo Bills running back Mike Gillislee (concussion) is "probably the No. 2 back right now," head coach Rex Ryan said on Monday.
Gillislee's spot on the depth chart came into question when he was the fourth running back to enter Buffalo's second preseason game behind LeSean McCoy, Reggie Bush, and rookie Jonathan Williams. Gillislee also suffered a concussion in that game, which puts his status into question.
Our models also think Bush will be the second back in Buffalo, with a current projection of 70 rushes for 242 yards and 1.24 touchdowns, as well as 118 yards with 0.70 scores through the air on 21 catches. Whoever the second-string running back is, McCoy is a likely bell cow workhorse in 2016.
