Raiders' Jimmy Garoppolo (back) DNP on Wednesday
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (back) will not practice on Wednesday ahead of Week 7's game against the Chicago Bears.
What It Means:
Garoppolo reportedly 'dodged a bullet' in regards to the severity of his back injury, with McDaniels saying "the prognosis is a lot better than it might otherwise have been.” The injury could still cause him to miss Week 7 though and his absence from practice points in that direction. Thursday's practice report will provide more information. If Garoppolo is ruled out, Brian Hoyer or rookie Aidan O'Connell could be under center against the Bears.
The Raiders are 3.0-point favorites over the Bears in Week 7. Their implied team total of 20.25 points is the ninth-lowest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
