Bishop Sankey projected to make Titans' 53-man roster

Tennessee Titans running back Bishop Sankey made the team's 53-man roster projection by ESPN reporter Paul Kuharsky.

What It Means:

Kuharsky kept Sankey around instead of Antonio Andrews and 2015 fifth-rounder David Cobb. That trio is likely competing for one roster spot, and at this point it is anyone's guess who emerges in training camp. Sankey has averaged just 3.8 yards per carry over 199 career attempts, but that is still better than anything Andrews or Cobb has been able to muster.

In 200 career rushing attempts, Sankey has accrued -14.59 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) for -0.07 Rushing NEP per attempt. On 47 targets, he has 15.16 Reception NEP (0.32 Reception NEP per target).
