Reshad Jones reports to Dolphins minicamp for Day Two

Miami Dolphins strong safety Reshad Jones reported for Day Two of the team's three-day minicamp Wednesday.

What It Means:

Jones had been expected to skip the entire offseason program. He did miss the first day of mandatory minicamp on Tuesday and was fined. Jones still has two years left on a four-year, $30 million extension, and while he may not get more money overall, renegotiations could see more guaranteed money added onto it.

Miami ranked just 30th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) per play, as well as a woeful 31st in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play. Jones did have a ridiculous 2015 campaign, with 136 total tackles, 2.0 sacks, 5 interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), and 10 passes defensed.
