Chase Claypool (knee) 'trending in the right direction' for Bears in Week 16
Chicago Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool (knee) is reportedly "trending in the right direction" for the team's Week 16 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
The team will be suiting up this Saturday, giving Claypool slightly less team to resume practicing, but it seems like he should be healthy enough to play against the Bills. If he can play, he'll have every opportunity to lead the Bears' thin receiver group.
Claypool is averaging 2.4 catches for 22.2 on 4.4 targets per game so far as a member of the Bears, but did draw 11 targets in his last two games for the team before suffering his knee injury. It's hard to rely on any Bears receivers for fantasy, but Claypool would be the safest wideout on the team if needed.
