Browns: Deshaun Watson (suspension) will start when eligible
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (suspension) will start when he's first eligible in Week 13 against the Houston Texans on December 4, per general manager Andrew Berry.
Berry praised Jacoby Brissett for the work he's done while filling in as the Browns' starter, but he confirmed that Watson will be under center when he's active. The suspended quarterback is eligible to resume practicing in Week 11. Watson hasn't appeared in the regular season since January 3, 2021 as a member of the Texans. Watson's return will be an upgrade for Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones down the stretch.
numberFire's models project Watson to average 282.0 passing yards and 25.7 rushing yards over the final six games with 9.04 touchdowns and 4.3 interceptions, plus 1.27 rushing touchdowns.
