Ben Roethlisberger (COVID) expected to return for Steelers this week
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (COVID-19) is on track to play in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers, per Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network.
Kinkhabwala says "it sure sounds like" Roethlisberger will be back under center for Pittsburgh if he clears COVID protocols and "is physically fit enough to play." Mason Rudolph, who struggled on Sunday against the lowly Detroit Lions, will have a much tougher draw in Week 11 if Roethlisberger is unable to return.
Rudolph targeted Diontae Johnson a team-high 13 times and Ray-Ray McCloud was right behind at 12 targets. Najee Harris was surprisingly only targeted four times. The Chargers are allowing the sixth-fewest FanDuel points per game to the quarterback position this season and they have the eighth-best pass defense in our power rankings.
