Steelers still committed to Ben Roethlisberger

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not be benched, according to Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

What It Means:

Schefter said the Steelers are "never" going to bench Roethlisberger and Fowler received a "heck no" when he recently asked about the struggling quarterback. Roethlisberger is averaging a career-worst 5.5 adjusted yards per attempt and his average depth of target is just 7.0 yards, fifth-lowest in the league among quarterbacks with double-digit attempts. He will lumber around again in Week 5 versus the Denver Broncos.

Roethlisberger is ranked 28th in Passing Net Expected Points per drop back out of the 37 quarterbacks with double-digit drop backs this season. He has a $6,600 salary on FanDuel in Week 5 and is the QB28 in numberFire's weekly fantasy rankings. The Broncos are allowing the second-fewest FanDuel points per game to the quarterback position this season.
