Minnesota's Tyler Conklin (hamstring) practicing on Monday
Minnesota Vikings tight end Tyler Conklin (hamstring) participated in Monday's practice.
Monday's return to practice is a good sign for the Vikings' tight end position after Irv Smith underwent meniscus surgery. Despite his secondary role in Minnesota's passing game behind their stud receivers, Conklin is expected to play a full-time role at his position until Smith is fully recovered.
For the 2021 season, numberFire's models project the 26-year old to haul in 23.5 receptions for 246.8 yards and 2.2 touchdowns on 35.4 targets.
