David Johnson (personal) uncertain for Texans versus Bears
Houston Texans running back David Johnson (personal) could miss Week 14 against the Chicago Bears, per interim head coach Romeo Crennel.
Johnson was excused from the team on Thursday to tend to a personal matter. "He had to take care of that," Crennel said. "We'll see if he's here today or not. We have to see how this thing develops. There's a possibility that he could not go." Duke Johnson would be in line for a three-down role if David is unavailable.
Duke averaged 13.0 touches and 56.3 yards with a touchdown during David's three-game absence from Weeks 10-12. The Bears are allowing the 10th-fewest FanDuel points per game to the running back position this season.
