Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) could face multi-week absence
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is reportedly dealing with swelling and weakness in his thumb and could face a multi-week absence, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports.
Tagovailoa picked up the injury in practice this week and will miss today's game while Ryan Fitzpatrick takes over. Garafolo added that there is "really no way of knowing" when the rookie quarterback's thumb will be ready, but that there were no broken bones. At least the Dolphins have a solid option behind Tagovailoa in Fitzpatrick.
Our models project Fitzpatrick to score 18.8 fantasy points against the New York Jets' abysmal pass defense. His salary is $7,400 on FanDuel this week.
