Tom Brady throws 2 picks in Buccaneers' latest primetime letdown

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady completed just 26-of-48 passes for 216 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions in a 27-24, Week 11 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night.

What It Means:

Brady set a season-high in pass attempts but a season-low in yards per attempt (4.5) as he struggled to stretch the field. His interceptions both came on inaccurate throws downfield, one an under-throw where he was hit and the second an airball to end the game. Brady now has 5 touchdowns and 5 interceptions over the past three games. He has also completed fewer than 60.0 percent of his passes twice in that span after clearing that mark every time Weeks 1-8. Fortunately for Brady's fantasy owners, the Buccaneers currently don't have any more primetime games scheduled for the rest of the regular season. They will square off with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12.

Brady scored 14.6 FanDuel points on Monday night and is now averaging 13.3 FanDuel points in four primetime games, compared to 24.7 FanDuel points in the Buccaneers' seven other games. Among the 38 quarterbacks with at least 10 attempts with an average depth of target of 20-plus yards, Brady is attempting the 10th-highest percentage of throws but completing the 10th-lowest percentage of those throws. He also ranks 29th in adjusted completion percentage under pressure out of 38 quarterbacks with at least 100 dropbacks.
