Packers' Allen Lazard (core) travels to San Francisco, can be activated prior to Week 9 game
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard traveled with the team to San Francisco for its Week 9 game against the 49ers on Thursday Night Football.
Lazard hadn't traveled for the team's last two road games as he was on injured reserve, so this could be a sign that he'll be activated prior to the Thursday deadline. His explosiveness could be a big boost to the Packers wide receiving corps, which has struggled behind Davante Adams. Assuming Lazard is good to go, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown should see downgrades.
San Francisco's defense has been average at stopping opposing air attacks, ranking 17th in the NFL in adjusted net expected points allowed per pass play.
