Cardinals place cornerback Byron Murphy on COVID-19/reserve list
The Arizona Cardinals have placed cornerback Byron Murphy on the COVID-19/reserve list.
The Cardinals are just coming off of their bye, so the timing of this incident definitely raises questions regarding whether or not the virus could have been spread to other Cardinals players. This will be a situation to watch ahead of Week 9.
Murphy has shown improvement from his borderline-disastrous rookie season, but he still hasn't proven himself to be a solid starter in the NFL. He currently sits as PFF's 49th-ranked cornerback in 2020.
