Chargers' Melvin Ingram (knee) placed on injured list
Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Melvin Ingram was placed on the injured list on Saturday with a knee injury and will miss Week 3's game against the Carolina Panthers.
Ingram practiced in full on Wednesday and Thursday but missed practice on Friday and has now been placed on the injured list. He will be out until at least Week 6, missing the Chargers' games against the Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New Orleans Saints.
