Buccaneers' Jason Pierre-Paul undergoes minor knee surgery
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul underwent minor arthroscopic knee surgery on Friday.
The recovery is expected to take around 3-4 weeks, meaning Pierre-Paul should be ready for the start of training camp on July 28. He recorded 8.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles with 27 tackles in 10 games last season after missing the first six games with a neck injury. The 31-year-old veteran has recorded 21 sacks and 54 quarterback pressures through two years in Tampa Bay.
numberFire's models project JPP for 5.3 sacks and 24.0 tackles this season. The Buccaneers D/ST is 20th in our preseason fantasy rankings.
