Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa doing 'miraculously well'

According to physical therapist Kevin Wilk, who has been working with Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in his recovery from the hip injury that ended his 2019 season, the quarterback is doing 'miraculously well.'

What It Means:

Tagovailoa is still progressing through the recovery process, but nearly all of the news coming out has indicated that he will be able to return to full health. It's still unclear how the Dolphins plan to approach their starting quarterback position this season, but if Tua is healthy by September the team will have a very difficult decision to make.

Tua was undeniably an elite quarterback at the college level while playing in the sport's toughest conference. numberFire currently projects Fitzpatrick and the rookie to split time this year, with Tua completing 178.64 of his 290.76 pass attempts for 2,024 yards with 10.92 touchdowns to 8.04 interceptions.
