Dolphins, rookie Austin Jackson ink four-year deal
The Miami Dolphins and first-round tackle Austin Jackson have agreed to terms on a four-year rookie deal, according to ESPN's Field Yates.
As with all first-round selections, this deal comes with a team option for a fifth season. Jackson, a USC product, is the second of the team's three first-round picks to sign the dotted line, joining quarterback of the future Tua Tagovailoa (cornerback Noah Igbinoghene hasn't as of yet). He projects to be the team's Week 1 starter at left tackle, and he could be a franchise cornerstone for years to come.
Jackson received a 73.9 overall grade from Pro Football Focus in 2019, allowing four sacks across 590 pass-blocking snaps.
