Jets' C.J. Mosley (groin) still recovering
New York Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley is still recovering from groin surgery.
“I wouldn’t say it’s 100%.," Mosley conceded. "I haven’t made those (cutting) movements, but I feel good. Mentally and physically, I feel great. It’s just a matter of getting on the field and doing it.” Mosley added that he expects to be ready for training camp. He underwent surgery on his groin in December. The former first-round pick was limited to only two games in 2019 during his first season with the Jets. He turns 28 next month.
Mosley returned an interception for a touchdown and recovered a fumble in just 114 defensive snaps last season. He earned an overall defensive grade of 75.0 from Pro Football Focus, ranking 12th out of 119 linebackers with 100-plus defensive snaps. He's graded above 70.0 in five of six seasons in the league.
