Malcolm Jenkins reunites with Saints
The New Orleans Saints signed defensive back Malcolm Jenkins, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Jenkins reunites with the team he spent the first five years of his career with. The Philadelphia Eagles declined to exercise Jenkins' team option on Tuesday following six seasons as a starter. Jenkins didn't record an interception last season but he had a career-high 4 forced fumbles and deflected 8 passes.
Jenkins allowed a 62.5 completion percentage and 6.3 yards per target on 56 targets last season. He did not allow a touchdown over 614 pass snaps.
