Drew Brees (thumb) limited again for New Orleans on Thursday
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was a limited participant at practice on Thursday ahead of the team's Week 8 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Brees first returned to the practice field after his thumb injury on Wednesday, getting in a limited session. He was limited on Thursday as well, but Brees seems to be very dedicated to suiting up. The Saints have a bye in Week 9, though, which could be a factor in whether New Orleans pushes him to return ahead of schedule. Obviously, if Brees can't go, Teddy Bridgewater would get the nod.
Our models currently project Brees for 134.3 passing yards, 1.2 touchdowns, 0.2 interceptions and 10.1 FanDuel points, though those are halved in the case of an uncertainty due to injury.
