Rapoport: Saints' Alvin Kamara (ankle/knee) could return in Week 8
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara hasn't been ruled out for the team's Week 8 game just yet, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Kamara is missing Week 7's game against the Chicago Bears due to dual knee and ankle injuries, but the door hasn't been closed on the star rusher returning against the Arizona Cardinals just yet. However, the Saints do have a bye the following week, which could make them more likely to sit Kamara and give him an extra week to rest up. In the meantime, Latavius Murray will handle the backfield duties.
In five-plus games this season, Kamara has 86 carries for 373 yards and a touchdown to go along with 33 catches for 276 yards and a receiving score.
