Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger may not have been concussed

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger may not have suffered a concussion Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

What It Means:

In a rarely seen move, Roethlisberger self-reported his symptoms, but they apparently "subsided quickly". The fact he misdiagnosed himself with a concussion indicates he was clearly a little rattled, but regardless, he is expected to play against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

On a whopping 55 passing attempts against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12, Roethlisberger amassed 11.48 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP). Entering Week 12, among signal callers with at least 100 drop backs, he ranked fourth in Passing NEP per drop back. The matchup against Indianapolis is a good one. The Colts rank 22nd in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play.
