Saints try again, sign veteran Brandon Marshall
The New Orleans Saints signed free agent wide receiver Brandon Marshall, previously of the Seattle Seahawks, to a 1-year contract, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
This was expected after Dez Bryant's season-ending Achilles injury. Marshall, 34, played in seven games for the Seahawks this season before being released at the end of October. He could potentially steal targets from Austin Carr and Benjamin Watson. The Saints host the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11.
Marshall averaged 4.2 FanDuel points for the Seahawks this season, with 11 catches for 136 yards and 1 touchdown on 23 targets.
