Woj: Shabazz Napier heading to Brooklyn on a two-year deal
The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to a two-year deal with former Portland Blazers guard Shabazz Napier, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Napier is coming off a breakout season in Portland but heads to a crowded backcourt in Brooklyn. He can play either guard spot, leaving the Nets plenty of flexibility. Napier will vie with Caris LeVert for minutes behind Allen Crabbe at the two and Spencer Dinwiddie and D'Angelo Russell at the point.
Napier averaged 8.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.1 steals in 20.7 minutes per game for Portland last season.
