76ers' Joel Embiid (face) has a good shot to play in Game 2 or 3
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (face) believes there is a good chance he will be able to play in Game 2 or 3 versus the Miami Heat.
Embiid was given a 2-to-4 week timetable to return following surgery to fix an orbital bone fracture. He just passed the two-week mark on Saturday and is still considered questionable to play at all in the Sixers first-round series. Amir Johnson started at center in Game 1 and would likely do so until Embiid is cleared to return.
Embiid averaged 22.9 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game this season.
