Chris Kaman

Blazers likely to exercise option on Chris Kaman

The Portland Trailblazers are likely to pickup the $5 million option on center Chris Kaman.

What It Means:

Kaman posted a 0.8 nERD last season, which was actually the second best of his career, while averaging 8.6 points and 6.5 rebounds for the Blazers. However, Kaman has limited lacks grit on the defensive end, only averaging 0.7 blocks a game. Kaman will provide depth to the Blazers who have Mason Plumlee as their starter and Meyers Leonard as their first option off the bench.
