Jonathon Simmons

Jonathon Simmons (wrist) ruled out Thursday as Magic face Sixers

Orlando Magic guard/forward Jonathon Simmons has been ruled out for Thursday night's home game versus the Philadelphia 76ers.

What It Means:

Dealing with a right wrist contusion, Simmons will miss a second straight game and his third of the year. He was doubtful and was quickly ruled out, so he might not be close to getting back out there. In his stead, Arron Afflalo will probably start again with Shelvin Mack and Mario Hezonja getting more minutes at shooting guard and small forward.

Our models had Simmons projected for 23.2 FanDuel points and 29.3 minutes. He's averaging 22.9 FD points and 29.4 minutes per game through 69 games (50 starts) this season.
