Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) improving, remains out on Friday for Heat
Miami Heat center Kelly Olynyk's shoulder is "getting better," but he will remain out on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans, head coach Erik Spoelstra said.
Olynyk missed the final four games heading into the All-Star break and he's going to miss at least one more. The Heat play again on Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies, so Spoelstra may want to hold the big man out of the front half of the back-to-back set. Hassan Whiteside, James Johnson, and Bam Adebayo should continue to benefit while Olynyk is out.
Olynyk is averaging 22.6 FanDuel points in 54 games (21 starts) this season. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 11.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game.
