Marco Belinelli reportedly signing with 76ers once he clears waivers
Free agent guard/forward Marco Belinelli will sign with the Philadelphia 76ers once he clears waivers, reports Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
Belinelli agreed to a buyout with the Atlanta Hawks on Friday and it looks like it didn't take him long to find a new landing spot. Per Charania, the 31-year-old will sign a veteran minimum deal with the 76ers. Belinelli will likely compete with Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot for minutes behind J.J. Redick, but he's probably going to see a reduced role in Philadelphia's rotation.
Belinelli averaged 18.4 FanDuel points in 52 games (one start) for the Hawks this season.
