Wizards trade Sheldon Mac to Hawks
According to The Vertical's Shams Charania, the Washington Wizards have traded shooting guard Sheldon Mac to the Atlanta Hawks.
What It Means:
Mac is rehabbing from a torn left Achilles. He suffered the injury back in October and isn't expect back for 6-to-8 months. He is due $1.3 million this season and a $1.7 million qualifying offer in 2018. The return for Washington is unknown at this time.
A year ago, Mac played in 30 games, averaging 9.6 minutes and 3.0 points per game.
