Marquese Chriss (hip, eye) to remain out Wednesday for Suns
Phoenix Suns power forward Marquese Chriss will not play on Wednesday, reports azcentral sports' Scott Bordow.
Chriss has been dealing with a right hip issue that's sidelined him for five straight games. But it's a combination of that and an eye issue that will keep him out of this one. Interim coach Jay Triano noted that the plan is for him to take part in a practice or "hard workout" before returning to action. Dragan Bender should in for another start with Josh Jackson and Jared Dudley playing minutes off the Suns' bench.
numberFire's models project Chriss to average 9.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 25.4 minutes per game the rest of the year.
