Kings' want George Hill to be more assertive on offense

Sacramento Kings coach Dave Joerger said he wants point guard George Hill to be more assertive on the offensive end of the floor.

What It Means:

Through 24 games, the 31-year-old Hill has just a 16.8% usage -- down from his 23.5% rate a year ago. He's also managed just 7.5 field goal attempts per game, which is only better than his rookie season (4.8). It's not surprising to see Joerger say, "When he's aggressive and looking for his shot I think that's good for us." If he hopes to stick in a starting role, Hill will have to pick it up, with youngsters De'Aaron Fox and Frank Mason pushing for playing time in Sacramento.

Over 25.6 minutes, Hill is averaging 19.1 FanDuel points per game. He's projected for 13.4 points, 3.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds over 28.1 minutes per game the rest of the season.
