Bulls will take conservative approach with Zach LaVine's (knee) return
Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg said the team has "no reason to rush" guard Zach LaVine's (knee) return.
LaVine continues to progress his way through rehab, and the fourth-year guard remains on track for a mid-December return, if not earlier. Once active, Hoiberg will likely put some heavy restrictions on LaVine while getting him back to a full workload. The Bulls are 3-14 (.176) and owners of the worst record in the NBA.
Once active, numberFire's models project LaVine to average 16.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.7 steals, 2.3 3-pointers, and 1.6 turnovers per game this season while making 44.0 percent of his field goals and 38.5 percent of his 3-pointers.
