Nuggets to 'talk to different doctors' to decide on plan for Paul Millsap (wrist)

Denver Nuggets head coach Mike Malone said that the team would discuss forward Paul Millsap's options to determine the best plan of action in dealing with his left wrist injury.

What It Means:

Some reports have suggested that Millsap will undergo surgery -- one that would hold him out two-to-three months. But there's still a possibility that he just rehabs the injury while remaining out for an extended time. Either way, Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried, Trey Lyles and Juan Hernangomez figure to see heavy minutes at the power forward spot.

numberFire's models project Millsap to average 21.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists a night over 22 games the rest of the season.
