John Wall leads Wizards with 28 points in season-opening win

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall accounted for 28 points, eight dimes and five boards in 37-plus minutes on Wednesday night against the Philadelphia 76ers.

What It Means:

In a closely contested game, Wall's leadership and experience helped Washington to a win. But he threw down a thunderous dunk and bullied 76ers guards for most of the night. He posted two blocks on the defensive end and finished the game with exactly 50 FanDuel points.

Wall didn't meet his projection of 52.5 FanDuel points, but he still met 5x value at $10,000. And, projected for 49.3 in the team's game against the Detroit Pistons, our models expect a similar performance from the star point guard on Friday night.
