DeMar DeRozan scores playoff career-high 37 points in Toronto
Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan scored a playoff career-high 37 points during a 115-94 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 on Friday, adding two rebounds, three assists, three steals and no turnovers in 40 minutes.
Kyle Lowry didn't see the court in Game 3 because of an ankle sprain, so it was all DeRozan in what ended up as a lopsided affair once the second half rolled around. DeRozan's big game was a welcome site after he scored only five points in Game 2, but another big game likely won't be enough to come back from a 0-3 deficit.
So far in the postseason, DeRozan is averaging 22.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.6 steals over 36.3 minutes per game. He owns a .436 effective field goal percentage over nine playoff games.
