Will Barton (foot) progressing, still won't be available Tuesday for Denver
Denver Nuggets guard/forward Will Barton (foot) said he's hoping to return soon and is "making good progress," but will not play Tuesday versus the New Orleans Pelicans.
What It Means:
Barton will miss his third straight game, but it sounds like he could return either return Wednesday against the Houston Rockets or Friday for another bout with the Pelicans. That being said, he's not worth rostering if the empty numbers are going to cost you a matchup in the fantasy playoffs. Wilson Chandler and Kenneth Faried will continue to see extra opportunity while Barton is unavailable.
numberFire's models project Chandler ($6,700 on FanDuel) to score 26.5 fantasy points (FP) on Tuesday night. Faried ($5,500) is tabbed for 26.4 FP of his own, making him the superior DFS option.
