Spurs facing Memphis without Danny Green (quad) on Tuesday
San Antonio Spurs guard/forward Danny Green (left quad contusion) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies.
What It Means:
Green's second straight absence means more minutes for Jonathon Simmons and Kyle Anderson, who both performed well on Sunday. Simmons turned in 17 points with some sprinkles in 34 minutes off the bench, while Anderson recorded 6 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in 32 minutes versus the Utah Jazz.
In the four games Anderson has exceeded 30 minutes this season, he's averaging 10.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest. His 1.3 nERD is seventh on the Spurs for the year.
