Pacers will be without Al Jefferson (ankle) for at least a few days
Indiana Pacers center Al Jefferson (ankle) is expected to be sidelined for at least a few days, per head coach Nate McMillan.
X-rays on Jefferson's ankle came back negative, but he's still dealing with a sprain, and we can definitely rule him out at least for Tuesday's matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Look for Lavoy Allen and Kevin Seraphin to see slight upticks in minutes.
Jefferson has averaged 8.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in only 14.1 minutes per game this season for the Pacers. He ranks 4th on the team and 105th in the NBA with a 0.9 nERD on the year.
