Ish Smith starting for Pistons, Reggie Jackson with second unit
Detroit Pistons point guard Ish Smith will enter the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Chicago Bulls, sending Reggie Jackson to the bench.
Smith's arrow continues to shoot up, while Jackson's stock is reaching dangerous waters. In 21 starts this season, Smith has averaged 10.8 points, 6.4 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game.
Prior to the lineup change, numberFire's metrics expected Smith to turn in 8.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 0.8 steals in 23.1 minutes. He's averaging 29.6 minutes per game with the first unit this season.
